Kala just finished her first sales call for her dad’s bread company today. She called before she went into her first restaurant. She was nervous and insecure about how she would do alone. This is so wonderful that Kala was willing to share her most intimate feelings about her first day alone on the job. It’s easy as we know to go along with the professionals and hear their pitch. It’s another thing to do the job alone.

I will never really know for sure, but I have a strong cense that the power of positive thinking and the powers that be saved my life a little over a month ago. I was on my way back from picking up a package at Ups that was not accepted at a previous office space earlier that day and could only be picked up between 7pm and 8pm. I made a quick stop at the bookstore to get the book “Eat Right for Your Blood Type”. I headed onto the …

What do you think is the most important part of your life? Is it material, or is it personal? What is the difference between material (home, car, money in bank) and personal (people you love, family, children) etc etc. My daughter got me thinking about this when she surprised me and said……I learned something about love mom and what I think it really means. Hmm I thought where is this going? If someone you know dies and you feel no personal reaction to their being gone….you couldn’t have loved them. …

Here is a post from a friend of mine. She wonders under the blanket of friendship, how much do you tolerate and give and still call it a friendship. While I’ve discussed the different kinds of friendships that exist, here’s one that I didn’t think of. Let us know what you’d do…I think my friend could use some of your thoughts. My best…and thanks for this post…

My grand daughter Mary and I talked about her future today, she’s at a crossroads. She doesn’t know if she should go to school or get a job. During high school she took cosmetology. At first Mary was pleased with it but eventually she didn’t feel a passion for what she was doing, and she knew it was time to move on. She’s forced to reconsider her options and evaluate her life. We talked about hairstyling and she knows it’s always there to fall back on if needed. However, Mary …

Question, do women give up the great husbands, waiting for the so called soul mate that makes you tingle when you see him? Your heart races, and your body is longing for the next intimate encounter. Is this lust, and can that it be translated into a sound relationship or marriage?

Each bringing a different kind of joy…
