Updates, Cancer and Site improvements

Cancer

This was the first week I felt as I did before my surgery. It was amazing and wonderful. I feel healthy and able to resume my prior life. My husband told me he saw the difference as well.

Noah

We had Noah this weekend and I was able to do all the things we did before. While we were driving to my sisters to have Noah go in the hot tub, which is big enough for him so he thinks he’s swimming he said; Grandma it’s so great you can drive again as I am still bald he said; grandma its only your hair that has to come back but it’s okay. I had to smile as it amazes me that kids 5 years old can reason so well… During his visit we went to Akron Park and I was able to walk or move around for almost an hour. It was wonderful. So I would say I’m back and hoping it’s for at least the next thirty years.

New Page

Our new page is almost ready to post; we’re going to look so professional. I can’t stand it. And I’ve been researching some new material to post on the site. I pray every day that God keeps the Cancer demon out of my life so we can move forward and you are happy with what we offer grandparents especially grandmas bringing us closer to our children and grandchildren.

Where we’re going

Cancer has slowed us down; however, we won’t let it stop us. Your support even while I was making no sense; has inspired me and my partner to make this site a go. We want everyone to be aware of the importance grandparents can bring to family values as well as being there for kids when needed. Sometimes we’re a safe harbor a place to have a good meal and know Grammy will listen and not judge. Having started this site in December of 06, we have along way to go to be better. We are a work in progress and you are our teacher, critic and friends.

Keep praying

I continue to pray that I’ll be with you for a long time. I am blessed with your loyalty and hope it grows as we move forward. Please keep reading while we change our site for the better. If you have any ideas let us know. Coming soon…

T shirts

Grammology t shirts… hope you’ll want to get one. They are in design and I’ll be wearing one of the trial t shirts soon. (Photo will be shown).

If you think you’ll want to purchase one let us know so we have an idea of how many we’ll need. I love t shirts in general so I’m excited…

Hope I’ve brought you up to date…My best, Dorothy

  4. I am glad to hear you feel as good as you did before the surgery and I pray you will feel at least that good from now going forward. I’m not a gramma and will never be able to be one, but I look forward to seeing what you’ve done on your new page.
