I got the pnuemonia shot three days ago. I have been running a 100 fever and my arm hurt so bad I could not move it for 2 days. It is still sore. I feel like I have pnuemonia. I will not ever get another shot.

hi there: well my husband and i and son got the regular fue shot, on wednesday, i myself cannot have the h1n1 because of having ms.

our doctor however, immunize everyone in his office, it didnt matter if you were high risk or not. anyhow the moral of the story is my husband is so sick now he can hardly standup, he has respiratory problems and has always had the flu shot before and never did it send him sailing on his patuse.

should i let the clinic no, or is this something that will pass.

I didn’t get flu shots for many years, but some years ago when my husband’s immune system was very weak he asked that I do so, so I started taking them every year. Though he has since died, I have continued to take the general flu shot.

The H1N1 vaccination is only now having limited availability here in the Southern Calif. Los Angeles area. I could qualify for the vaccination since I’m a part time health care worker, but the places to obtain them are few. Usually the huge long waiting lines far exceed the number of shots they have available. I think those in other age groups who want the vaccine and are at greater risk than I should have priority.

My daughter and granddaughter on the east coast who are in high risk age groups have just recovered from the Swine flu. The vaccine was not yet available there so they couldn’t have gotten either the nasal mist or vaccine if they had wanted it. Individuals were contracting that flu before school even started there this fall.

Wow, I’m so sorry you feel sick. Hope you feel better soon. I’m still not so sure about these flu shots or the H1N1 shots. My mom, who has been a nurse for over 40 years, got the flu shot about 15 years ago and had a very bad reaction and came down with Guillain-Barré Syndrome . She now has permanent neurological damage and has some serious health problems. I guess these shots really scare me. Hope you feel better soon Dorothy. Yesterday I went to my lung Dr and thet talked me into the regular flu and pneumonia shot I have been so sick and have slept the day away my arm that I received my pneumonia shot hurt so bad I actually could not use it even my armpit area hurt I hope that this really helps because as of right now I wish I had not received these injections because I feel like crap.

NO flu shot for me or my wife. In NY they are making all people in the health care industry take the flu shot whether they want it or not. I think it should be your own personal decision to do as you see fit for your own body.
