What do you really want in order to be happy?
Because New Years Eve is on the horizon, many of us begin reviewing the past year and ask ourselves what we want to change in our lives in order to achieve success for the coming year, the majority of the time we attempt to loose weight (that would be me) quit smoking, or get a better job. However, as I’ve asked friends this question and you dig deep into their psyche you find a different story, we know the …

I can only imagine what the parents of Brittany must me feeling today as they move through the motions of putting their daughter to rest, as parents aren’t suppose to ever have to bury their children thus, I hope they have family and friends who will see them through this as they will need to have people they love and respect by their sides as they make it through the next few months.
There are so many questions a parent has when a child dies and none of them are anything …

David Goldman is on his back to the US with his son Sean and I feel as though I know him and someone lost from my family is returning home.
I’m so relieved that David Goldman’s long battle for custody of his son is over and he’s heading home to the US after five years of being away from his father and his family.
I hope they are able to put back the pieces and move forward allowing Sean to make the many adjustments which will be necessary for having a …

Happy Holidays
Noah told me what Christmas meant to him and that it’s not about presents grandma, “it’s about Jesus because he was born on that day” and Noah proceeded to explain that later, “he got hung on the cross and died for our sins so we celebrate Christmas to tell Jesus thank you”, could it be that simple I know Jesus wasn’t born on December 25th it’s the day Christians picked to celebrate his birth, however, the words and thoughts coming from the heart of my six year old …

Sometimes you wonder if being rich and famous is worth what happens to your family when you get caught doing something wrong, it doesn’t matter what the issues, they are aired liked dirty laundry, the media frenzy is fast and furious, and we all want to know more even me, lately I find myself watching the national news to see what’s the latest with Tiger and when I think about it, I’m ashamed that I’ve succumb to being a busy body as well however I’m only human right.

Today is my son’s birthday he would have been 36, he was killed in an auto accident October 4, 1991 it’s over 18 years ago and my heart is still broken thus, during this week I fill my mind with thoughts of what life would have been like if he hadn’t driven his car that day and instead lived to grow up and be with us would he have gone to college, married and had children what would his life be like. Then I wonder why Daniel why my son …

Twilight
My grandson asked me to go to the movies as part of his birthday present yesterday, he wanted to see Twilight New Moon. I was distressed that he asked me and I didn’t have the nerve to tell him because it seemed important that I go and I thought I was going to be so bored. After it started I wondered what the hell I was doing there when all of a sudden it happened, I fell in love with Jacob the werewolf, he was so cool and the whole …

Good parenting and the Good Wife
I was thrilled with an episode of the Good Wife, (which I really enjoy watching every week) where Julianna Marguiles who plays Alicia Florrick the scorned wife who had to go back to work while raising her two children and lands a job working as an attorney starting over.
In the episode her 14 year old child has a girl in his room that is 16 and gives the inference she is sexually interested in Alicia’s son and not so enthusiastic about helping him with his …

This will be a brief post as I’m so far behind I’m feeling like a sinking ship with no hope of survival and doomed for failure instead of success.
Hence, what can one do when your convinced there is no hope of victory and you’re sure you can do better and have no idea of how because time is not on my side and the holidays are almost here and I’m not prepared, thus if you have any advise as to how I can calm down and not make matters …
