Grandmas see this movie

Twilight

My grandson asked me to go to the movies as part of his birthday present yesterday, he wanted to see Twilight New Moon. I was distressed that he asked me and I didn’t have the nerve to tell him because it seemed important that I go and I thought I was  going to be so bored.  After it started  I wondered what the hell I  was doing there when all of a sudden it happened,  I fell in love with Jacob the werewolf, he was so cool and the whole idea of the love story behind the vampires and werewolves was fascinating and I was hooked do they really exist?

I also found  I was intrigued with the chemistry between  Bella and Edward and there I was asking my grandson to tell me all the rules that related to vampires and werewolves’ and how they live,  example they can’t have sex and even had to be cautious about kissing it has something to do with their powers  I couldn’t believe it as  I wanted to know more and what else to expect in the future, therefore if you like movies, go see this show and for 2 hours you can revert back to being a teenager and relive your memories of times gone by, how fun is that,   I was even annoyed when the movie ended and there was no happy ending I thought  he’d save Bella and everything would be happily ever after not so more to come.

In addition seeing this movie made me feel like I had a de-stress session with a psychiatrist (the movie is a lot cheaper) as I remembered my high school days when me and my friends would sit together and talk about life and romance things I did at age 16 things by this old age we forget and after all how bad can it be when you get the chance to recall the old days and they make you smile and you leave the theatre with your grandson and to his surprise you loved the movie he picked as much as he did.  He’s still laughing at his old grandma and I’m so happy to have shared that time with my William and guess what I’m on the Jacob team and I love it…

What a good Grandma you are! How cool is it that you enjoyed the film as well. It has certainly gotten some good reviews and I like your idea of sort of regressing ourselves back to a time of youth.

What? Vampires can’t have sex! So, what did Bela Lugosi do with all those lovely ladies after he made make all those googly-eyes at him?

We love the books here at my house, so we are looking forward to seeing the second movie even though we found the first one a little disappointing. From the pictures that I’ve seen of the shirtless Jacob, I’m on team Jacob too! You are a very cool Grandma.

Go Team Jacob! I think every man should strive to have his six-pack! There should be an exercise book called: ‘Team Jacob: The Workout’ ;)

The best part of your story is that you got to spend some quality, “Cool” time with your grandson. I love that!

    Happy Holidays!

And yes, Jacob all the way! (My wife would disagree though)
