John Edwards: When will men STOP thinking with their little heads?
Does anybody not fool around today?
Former Senator John Edwards finally admits he fathered a baby out of wedlock taking a position it was just too difficult to admit and that he needed time to discuss these issues with his wife and mistress, I’m sorry guys but this makes me sick. When will men stop thinking with their little heads (the one in their pants) and listen to the common sense head on their shoulders, if that’s even possible, because narcissistic personalities are so self-centered they are unable to realize with DNA eventually the truth will always come out in spite of how insulated they think they are, plus this is just the latest example of poor judgment and down right lying until it’s no longer possible to continue and the truth comes out.
And in case you think I’m man bashing, I’m not as I do not consider this a male issue only, I’ve been in the company of women who are bolder then hell today and think similar to John Edwards by doing whatever pleases them at the moment, never taking into consideration the consequences if they get caught or consider how it will affect their family and friends who have to listen to all the jokes, comments, and opinions for a long time after the party is over for sure Tiger Woods is another example of what we can expect whenever you’re famous or rich the camera only a click away.
Thus more heartbreak for the innocent families involved especially the children, and I wonder where it will all end, will we ever say no to the urges of instant pleasure and choose monogamy, honesty and virtue, verses fleeting gratification. As I write my thoughts I wonder is it possible when you consider our history and really this isn’t new we just have more ways to get the story out with some really close up photos to help us see everything in living color and often video, therefore buckle up as I sense men and women today will continue fooling around and justify their actions as many have done before, and when they get caught figure out some mental condition like Tiger Woods seek treatment and move forward with little concern or care for anyone whose been affected by their sins now aren’t I sounding a little negative, (that would be me).
I think your first sentence sums it up for me, babe. Does no one practice monogamy anymore? And why the hell not?
And to think he had the chutpah to run for president!!!! Shame on him!!!!
It is my understanding that Tiger Woods father left a wife and five children to marry Tiger’s mom. What kind of example did that set about fidelity for Tiger. I believe many father’s have led their sons to believe adultery is okay and probably many mothers have taught daughters the same. I don’t know about Edwards upbringing, but somewhere he and Clinton and others were given some sense of entitlement. As long as their spouses forgive them, it will continue.
I agree whole heartedly. It’s hard when people who are in places where they are supposed to be examples or role models, make such poor decisions. I feel so sorry for the family.
Edwards is a clod. He also hurt me and my political party. This hubris spreads like jam and independents will think all liberals are immoral.

Madi and I came by to say happy weekend. We are NC natives….we have known the ‘true’ John Edwards from day one. Every move he made was about ‘him’ no one else. He was very good a fooling the rest of the country.
I have to admit that I was one of the people suckered in by a pretty face and the oh-so-sincere persona of family man with tragedy, and caring for his fellow man. Uh-huh. It just makes me spitting mad at what he has done to his family. Not only that, but what he did to Hillary Clinton in the debates when he outright called her a liar. How sleazy and two-faced can one be? I hope Elizabeth takes all the money she should get in a divorce settlement and gives it to some charity. And what about her? She must be really sick, because I haven’t seen her in the news at all lately. Men are such disgusting creatures sometimes. I won’t even call them animals, because that would be insulting to the animals.
Look how clean cut both John and Tiger look. Shows that looks are deceiving. As far as a clinic to help with your sexual problems. I feel church might be the right place. Not to just take a nap.

I was so disappointed too! I really liked him before everything came out. He seemed like a great guy. I guess you really never know what is going on behind closed doors. I think the number of men that don’t stray is getting smaller and smaller!

Correction: Earl Woods, Tiger’s dad,left his first wife and three (3) children in 1968. I had said five children earlier. He married Tiger’s mom in 1969. Then it looks like she divorced him for infidelity in 1972 but they remarried and then stayed together.
