I read your blog post from 10/08 and it moved me to tears. Now having children of my own I just can't imagine having to go through what you have gone through in your life. My husband went to visit her (in another state) and she later told me that she didn't know just how bad she really did look until he walked in the room. He, who always thought he had a "poker face", was devastated by her appearance, and couldn't hide it. But no matter what, that you (and she) were alive is the important thing. I’m new here. Dorothy...the first photo...I see a scared, confused and almost hopeless mind peaking through a dark tunnel. In the second photo...I see hope, survival, and a renewed sense of what is important in life and it most certainly is not today's hair-do! In the third...
